Introduction: About the college-

The Faculty of Pharmacy of UP University of Medical Sciences, Saifai Fatwah is established recently, in the year 2015 to develop a center for excellence in Pharmacy Education that would endeavor the new pattern of teaching in pharmacy to the youth of newly independent India. UP University of Medical Sciences, Saifai Eatwah is the fastest growing institute as a center of education for medical, paramedical, nursing, and pharmacy providing excellent education and training to the students. Faculty of Pharmacy, Saifai is the first college started by the UP government in 2015 which will function as per the guidelines and norms provided by the AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India. The college is primarily approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and further got the consent of affiliation from UPTU for the session 2015-16. Candidates who wish to become a part of it will be selected based on UPTU counseling.

Mission: Its mission is to impart quality education in the areas of Pharmaceutical Sciences, promotion of innovation and translation research, and study national to international pharmaceutical policy issues.

Aim: This institution also aims to collaborate with pharma industries to meet the global challenges, create specializes to cater to the needs of pharmaceutical industries and other research and teaching institutes, and conduct programs on drug surveillance including the study of sociological aspects of drug use and abuse.

Vision: The main objectives followed by the institute are toning up the level of pharmaceutical education and research by training the future teachers, research scientists, and managers for the industry and profession, creating National centers to cater to the needs of pharmaceutical industries and other research and teaching institutes and collaboration with Indian industries to meet the global challenges.

National International collaboration research, curriculum and medium development, and study of sociological aspects of drug use and abuse and rural pharmacy, etc are some other missions this institution aims to fulfill.
