About the college

Progressive Learning College of Education is located in the village of Jaunawas in Rewari district, Haryana. It was established in the year 2007 as a private educational institution with the aim of educating the weaker section of the society as a a service to mankind. The college is approved from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It was formerly affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak and now it is affiliated to Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur. The college campus has a well-functioning library, spacious classrooms, computer lab, round the clock internet service, sports facilities, departmental laboratories, first aid and seminar halls.

Progressive Learning College of Education Admission 2024

The college has one running programme which is Bachelor degree of Education (B.Ed.). It is a 2 year programme based on semester system. The college admits 50 students per academic session. The curriculum entails a number of theory and practical subjects across the two years accompanied by project works and teaching sessions. The admission to the course is granted on merit basis. An entrance exam is held in the month of July/August by the state university for admission to B.Ed. The candidates have to appear for the test on the scheduled date. All admissions to B.Ed. course in Haryana are done on the basis of counselling conducted by the state university. No college can admit students if he/ she does not qualify the university admission process. The students are advised to visit the state university website to register for the test and get regular updated for admission dates and procedure.

Eligibility

The candidates in order to be eligible to apply must have completed their graduation with at least 50% score under 10+2+3/ 10+2+4/ 11+1+3/ 11+1+4 pattern of study from any university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
