Rani Bhagyawati Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya was originated back in 1971 at Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Rani Bhagyawati Devi had an idea of an institution about women  in which women can study for higher education. So on 11 july in 1971, a Mahavidyalaya was inaugurated by the then Vice Chancellor, Honorable Shri Sheelta Prasad in the presence of Vira Brothers. Initially it was affiliated to Agra University but in 1976 it was given the affiliation automatically of M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. The mahavidyalaya campus has an area of 20 acres. They have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. NAAC has given them ‘B’ grade. This is a private college.The college is only for girls. The college is offering diploma courses too fashion design and interior design. They are offering BCA, B.Ed., BA, B,Sc. (Home Science), masters degree in many subjects, diploma in textile design, Post Graduate Diploma in Travel & Tourism Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Eligibility Criteria

For the admission process the students can directly fill the application form from the official site. The entrance test has 2 or 3 phases. It is being said that candidates has to select the active phase for admission in different prgrams.

For Arts, Science, Management,

Applicants should have completed their 12th. They should have at least scored 50% in their boards and for SC/ST/OBC the minimum percentage is 45%. Candidates have to qualify the entrance exam being conducted by the College.

Also, for post graduation or master degree, applicants should at least score 50% in their graduation from a well verified college.
