About the College

With a connection to the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith and approval from the Indian Bar Council, the SKSLCG-Smt Kanti Singh Law College Gyanpur is a prestigious educational institution that has been providing legal education since 2006. With the intention of making significant changes to Indian legal education that would make it more modern, socially relevant, financially feasible, and career-focused. The Practical Training Program (Legal Internship), the Legal Literacy and Mass Awareness Program in the rural areas of the District are among the faculty's innovative practises. Smt. Kanti Singh Seva Sansthan, a social service organisation founded in honour of the late wife of the college's founder, Dr. D.R. Singh, manages the institution. The society has been registered since 2003–2004 under registration number 1297, which was renewed for an additional five years until 19–02–2014. In the college, a three-year, six-semester LL.B. degree programme is offered. The college is completely furnished and has its own water and electrical systems. There is a phone facility.

Candidates can apply for admission to the state's private and public universities and colleges by taking a variety of entrance tests. Candidates will be admitted through university-level entrance exams (BHU 2024, AMU 2024, and Allahabad University) as well as national level entrance exams (CLAT 2024 & LSAT).

Eligibility

Only a 12th grade education and a three-year graduation are required for entrance into a three-year legal programme; the 12th grade is the minimum requirement. The requirements for 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation can be fulfilled in any way (remote learning, correspondence learning, or open schooling methods), and the pass rate is 45% for general students, 42% for OBC students, and 40% for SC/ST students.
