Sri Agrasen Kanya PG College is comfortably situated in the oldest living city of the world , Varanasi also known as Kashi , District of Uttar Pradesh , a Northern region of India peninsula.It has attained the status of first women's autonomous college in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2001-2002  . It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi which was opened in the year 1973 . It works in association with Shree Kashi Agrawal Samaj . It has also been accredited by NAAC . Sri Agrasen Kanya PG College has been bestowed grade A by National Assessment and Accreditation Council  (NAAC) which has enhanced the quality status of education and learning .

The college offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels . Among the undergraduate courses it provides bachelor degree for Science, Commerce and Art i.e. BA, BSC and B.com . For post graduation it provides master in Arts (MA) , Master in Science (M.SC ) and post graduate diploma in computer application . Applicants  can apply to seek admission through the official website of the college . Admission to the college is strictly on the basis of merit of the last qualified exam and then marks secured in entrance examination organized by  the college itself but to admit in M.SC courses here, it examines and selects the student on merit basis .
