SJCC Admission 2024 | St. Josephs College of Commerce UG & PG Course Last Date
St. Joseph's College of Commerce [SJCC] is located in central Bangalore at Bridge road, is affiliated to Bangalore university and operated by Jesuits. The college was established 139 years ago in 1882. The college was first established as St Joseph's European High School. In 1937, the school authority was transferred to Jesuits. In 1949, the college introduced a commerce department. Later St. Joseph's College was divided into two. They are college of arts and science and college of commerce. Even though they are separated, the authority was the same. St Joseph's Evening College became an independent college by transferring St Joseph's College of Commerce (SJCC) and St Joseph's College of Business Administration (SJCBA) to 163, Brigade Road. Later two years full time diploma courses in management (PGDM) were introduced by SJCBA in 1996. In 2004 the college became an Autonomous college.

In 1999 the placement cell was introduced to the college. Students get recruited in many companies through the placement cell. Also colleges have scholarships for students, who are in need. Also they provide scholarships for students in sports and extracurricular activities. Students can apply to the college through the admission form, provided by the college on their official site. Students can also apply through sports quota , but they should be state and national level players, with a 60% marks on their 10 grade and they should apply through the sports department in the college.
