St. Joseph’s College of Nursing is located at Dharmagiri, Kothamangalam, Kerala. The college was established in 2002, it is a catholic institution managed by the Congregation of Medical Sisters of St. Joseph (MSJ). The college is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health science, Thrissur, it is Approved by the Indian nursing council and KNMC. The Affiliated parent hospital of the college is St. Joseph's Hospital, which was established in 1934 by Msgr. Joseph C. Panjikaran M.A; PhD; D.D; DCL, the founder of Medical Sisters of St. Joseph with the purpose of providing medical aid for the poor and downtrodden in the society. The mission of the college is to contribute the best with generosity & joy as ANGELS OF CONSOLATION to facilitate healing and wholeness. The college is run under the guidance of the principal Sr. Ivan MSJ and the director of the college Sr. Sylvia MSJ.

The St. Joseph's College Of nursing offers both Undergraduate level and postgraduate level programmes in nursing and other streams.

Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Nursing) - This course offered by the college is available only in the nursing stream. It is a 4 year, On campus and full time course. The fee charged by the institute for this course is ₹ 55,000 per year.

Post Basic Bachelor of Science [P.B.B.Sc] - This course offered by the college is available only in the nursing stream. It is a 2 year, On campus and full time course. The fee charged by the institute for this course is ₹ 55,000 per year.

Master of Science [M.Sc] - This course offered by the college is available in Medical Surgical Nursing, Obst. And Gyane Nursing, Paediatric Nursing streams. It is a 2 year, On campus and full time course. The fee charged by the institute for this course is ₹ 150,000 per year.

Elligibilty

The candidate must have been satisfied this criteria to be elligible for the admission in the Undergraduate course offered by the college. To pass in higher secondary examination of the board of the higher secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent examination recognized by University of Kerala with an aggregate of 50%marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

UG & PG admission

The admission in the college and the allotment of the seats is by the centralized allotment process of LBS centre for science and technology. The 50% of the seats are reserved for the Govt. Quota and the remaining 50% are management seats. The application form available in the university website is to be filled and the required documents are to be submitted to the management. The application fee of ₹500/- should be payed.

Management seats are filled by centralized allotment process Association of the Managements of Christian Self Financing Nursing Colleges of Kerala (AMCSFNCK).
