SID Admission 2024 | Symbiosis Institute of Design UG & PG Course Last Date
Symbiosis Institute of Design is a constituent College of the Symbiosis International University and affiliated to UGC and NAAC. It was established in 2004 and is located at Viman Nagar, Pune. This institute is fully equipped with modified appliances and devices to motivate the students more towards success and growth in the related fields of expertise. It consists of a library which is said to be the best design library in the whole of the country, computer labs equipped with the necessary software, etc.
Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers the learners with Bachelor of Design (BDes) which consists of 4 specializations. The students have to choose from these four courses for a duration of four years:
- Communication Design
- Industrial Design
- Fashion Design
- Fashion Communication.
The institute was ranked 9th by the India Today group for ' Fashion Design ', in 2024 and 20th by Outlook India for 'Fashion Design' in 2019. The college is also known for the wide range of scholarships sanctioned to the eligible candidates, some of them mentioned below:
