This college is established in 1966 with the mission of creating and developing the facilities and resources of the higher education. It is recognized by the government of Maharashtra and his approved by UGC under the act 2 f and 12 b of UGC. It is affiliated to Swami Ramanand teerth Marathwada University,nanded. It is re-accredited by NAAC with B+ grade and CGPA 2.54.. the college has its well developed physical infrastructure with well equipped classrooms laboratories library and hostels with fully technical to meet up the requirements of the students and to increase the quality of education for students.

The eligibility criteria for the undergraduate courses is to pass 10 + 2 examination from a recognised board  of education and on the basis of the marks score in entrance examination taken by the college for postgraduate courses eligibility criteria is to have bachelors degree with minimum 60% of marks in aggregates subjects and up to the performance in interviews taken by the college authority. 5% relaxation is given to the SC ST and OBC candidates in the admission process
