Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research was established in1998 in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is approved by the Pharmacy council of India and by the AICTE. Also, it is a private Institute. The college has got the affiliation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Government of Karnataka. The college has Seminar Halls, Auditorium, Laboratories, Digital Library, Wi-Fi internet facility, and etc. The institute is attached to a corporate hospital named Cauvery Medical Center which has 350 beds and so the center is used for clinical training of the students. The main goal of the institute is to give hi-tech knowledge to the students, and make the advancement in the profession by the help of research in both teaching and learning.

Eligibility Criteria

 

For Doctor of Pharmacy

 

Students who have either cleared P.U.C. exam of Karnataka or the  P.U.C. board/ or an equivalent exam board with English as one of the subjects and the main subject as Physics and Chemistry as well as either math or biology or both. Minimum eligibility is based only on aggregates the students get on their intermediate and they must pass their subjects individually. 

Applicants who have cleared D.Pharm course from the college or university which is being approved by Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of Pharmacy Act are  going to be admitted in Pharm.D course of first year.

 

For Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate)

 

Candidates should clear B.Pharm. exam conducted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or any B.Pharm exam conducted by a recognised University Orr any degree courses in pharmacy which is equivalent by Pharmacy Council of India and also Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Candidates can also get lateral entry into the courses according to the merit list the college generates. 

 

For PhD (Pharmaceutics)

 

Candidates must have M.Pharm either from this institute or from any recognised college or university. Even if the candidates are having P.G. degree in pharmacy which is considered equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences are eligible for the course of Ph.D.

 

For B.Pharm

 

Students must pass their intermediate with compulsory subjects as physics and chemistry and other subject as maths or biology or biotechnology or computer science. They have to at least score 40% but for reserved category it should be 35%.  Also, if the students has earlier done their D.Pharm then they are also eligible for the course and get admitted to second year directly.

 

For D.Pharm

 

Students must pass any of the exams with chemistry, physics and biology or math PUC or 10+2 or intermediate or PDC or Higher Secondary exam in Science.

 

For M. Pharm

 

Candidates who have passed B.Pharm exam from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or any other recognised University and have scored at least 50% total marks are eligible for the course. But for SC/ST/Category-1 of Karnataka should be passed in B.Pharm.
