Amrith Educational and cultural society built it’s foundation in 1992 . Smt V. Geetha Devi is the chairperson of this centre. AECS beautifully combines eastern and western dental sciences to give every human being a perfect smile. Dr Jayakar Shetty is the principal of this centre.

Lecture Hall

The lecture halls are spacious and promotes correct atmosphere for learning.

Library

The library not only has lots of books on dental science but also it has internet facilities. Students have access to CD’S in which important topics and lectures are stored.

Laboratory – the laboratory is equipped with modern things that can help a student understand a concept practically.
Hostels – separate hostels for boys and girls are there. The hostels are inside the premises for student's security. The hostels are well maintained and it provides vegetarian food.

Department:-

Department of oral medicine and radiology

Oral medicine takes the place when surgeries fails. Oral medicine helps in treating oral diseases and give back to patient a healthy, happy smile.

Students get training in a pre doctoral course from third year.

Oral radiology also helps to have the pictorial representation of diseases that helps doctors to have proof.

Separate section for oral medicine and radiology is there.

Department of oral maxillofacial surgery

Surgical treatment is also a way to cure oral diseases.

This department train students through various methods like lectures, group discussion etc. After the 3 year MDS course students get placement in fields like surgical oncology, Neurosurgery, Anesthesiology etc.

Department of pedodontics:-

Kid’s dental health is always important. This department is devoted towards giving children a perfect healthy smile.

Department of conservative dentistry and Endodontics

Endodontics is all about dental pulp. Students get good training in this field. Prof Dr Raghu Srinivasan is the head of this department. He has three gold medals in his achievement list.
