Private Allamaprabhu BEd College was founded in 2007 and is managed by the HIREMATH SAMSTHAN VIDYAPEETH TRUST Society. It once had ties to the Karnataka government and followed its rules. The institute's main goal is to rank among the top institutions in the field of higher education by giving students the fundamental tools of learning, inspiring them to become creative and innovative thinkers, and teaching them a variety of human values and character traits that are ultimately responsible for the social changes that lead to a better future for our nation. At the graduate level, the college only offers one general degree programme, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), which is of two years full time programs and is taught on campus with a maximum enrollment of 100 students. The National Councils for Teacher Education (NCTE) respect the program's academic format of the Institute. 

Eligibility criteria

Applicants for the Bachelor's in Education programmes must have earned their bachelor's or master's degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent cumulative grade point average (CGPA) for general category candidates and at least 45% marks or an equivalent CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
