About the college
Amrith Educational Cultural Society [AECS] is an institution located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was established in 1982 under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act. It is affiliated to the CBSE board, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and has been recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and Dental Council of India. The impetus of the institution is to shape an academic environment where the individual can develop in a holistic manner so they are prepared to take on the challenges presented by the industry in the future with global-standard competency. Amenities that the student can avail of are hostels, library, transport, high-quality classrooms, and a variety of laboratories such as Nursing Lab, Nutrition Lab, Paediatric Lab, Midwifery Lab, Computer Lab. The group has a college of Nursing and a Dental School, thus the courses are offered accordingly.

Courses students can pursue under the Nursing college are General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), Bachelor’s in Nursing (B.Sc.), Post Basic Nursing (P.B.B.Sc), and a Master’s Degree in nursing (M.Sc).
Academic programs to be pursued for interested Dental candidates are BDS (Bachelor Of Dental Surgery) and MDS (Master Of Dental Surgery). Within the Master's, one can choose a branch among Orthodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Pedodontics, Prosthodontics, and Periodontics.
Eligibility
In terms of academic prerequisites, the student must have passed their 10+2 level with at least 35% marks for eligibility in the UG courses.
To be eligible for the Dental courses, the student must have qualified in the NEET and must also be registered candidates with the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority).
Process
All dental admissions will be conducted through the KEA online website, a centralised process for all NEET eligible candidates. Once the student has been offered a seat in the college, they must secure it by submitting the official documents.
All nursing admissions will be completed directly with the institution, where the student will obtain an application form, fill it and submit it along with the required documents. These are marksheets of 10th & 12th, Transfer Certificate, Eligibility Certificate from RGUHS, Aadhar Card and photographs.
