About the College

Basavashree College of Law is a constituent of Karnataka State Law University, which was established by Basavashree Educational Trust with the approval of the Government of Karnataka and the Bar Council of India to promote graduate training and to encourage and organise group things for the development of the young generation's cultural, social, and instructional character. The trust was founded in 2004 and launched its first initiative, Basavashree College of Law, which offered a three-year LL.B course with 79 admissions in the first year. For the academic year 2010-2011, these colleges have 400 students enrolled in the law programme. The Basavashree College of Law is launching a five-year LL. B., BBA Law Course to attract business graduates, with the goal of making legal education available to all sectors and parts of society. By providing quality and accurate education, our network of Institutions aspires to create an appropriate platform for our students to effectively express their diverse abilities. Our goal is to assist each student in discovering and realising their full potential.

BCL Admission 2024

Admission to LLB courses is dependent on the results of various LLB entrance tests, including those of CLAT, AILET, LSAT, DU LLB, and others. CLAT is the nationwide exam for LLB entrance, and final admissions are based on a merit list.

Eligibility

For admittance into a 5-year legal course, only 10th and 12th grade requirements are needed, with 10th grade being the minimum requirement. Qualifications for the 10th and 12th grades can be earned in any way and for getting admission in LLM Aspirants must have a three-year LLB degree from a recognised university, or a three-year integrated LLB degree if equivalent LLB degree. Candidates must have achieved at least 55% in average in the certifying degree examination.

BBA LLB:-Degree in Business, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA LLB) is a five-year full-time integrated law degree given by Karnataka State Law University, Hubli, with Bar Council of India accreditation (BCI).
