About the College

The B.V. Bellad Law College in Belagavi was founded by the K.L.E. Society in 1975. "To impart socially relevant legal education to the students by involving them in direct and active interaction with the society, to adapt them to face the new social and legal challenges, and to bring about social reforms and national development," reads the college's mission statement. The college is situated on the large Lingaraj College Campus. The college provides both 3 and 5 year programmes in law. The institution has a strong faculty made up of dedicated academics with expertise in a range of social sciences and legislation. In order to teach procedural laws, skilled attorneys are also recruited as guest faculty. The institution has a well-stocked library with more than 10,000 books worth 20 lakhs, as well as magazines, hard copies of the Law Journals, as well as other training resources. The ability to update legal knowledge online is also available. Students can conduct study thanks to the 10 computer computer lab and Internet centre. The college includes a fantastic field with a 100-meter cinder track for outdoor competitions and a multi-gym indoor sports complex with current equipment. At the collegiate level, our students excelled in sports and took home the majority of awards. So date, the college has created more than 20 University Blues.

The prescribed form must be used to submit the admissions application.

At the time of admission, all original qualifying exam documents, including the marks list, degree certificate, and transcript, must be produced along with two sets of Xerox copies of the same. Two photos in passport size and two in stamp size must be included with the application. At the time of acceptance, all payments, including the dorm fees, as established by the university, the government, and the KLE Society, must be paid. You have to take admission personally.

Eligibility

Anyone who has earned a degree in any field of study from a university created by an act of parliament, a state legislature, a comparable national institution recognised as a deemed university, or a foreign university recognised as having the same standing as an Indian university by a competent authority may apply for a three-year degree programme in law that will result in the awarding of an LL.B degree upon successful completion of the programme.

About the Course

LLB:-With the consent of the Bar Council of India, Karnataka State Law University, Hubli offers a three-year full-time Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) programme in law (BCI).

BA LLB:-The Bar Council of India has granted Karnataka State Law University, Hubli permission to provide the five-year full-time Integrated Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) programme in law (BCI).
