About the College

The Chauson College of Education was founded in 1985 and is a part of the Chauson Education Society. The Management has worked hard to foster excellence in the field of education by providing high-quality instruction that will result in competent teachers. The Chauson College of Education is located in Chaugule Hills, Chikodi, Belgavi District, Karnataka, on a 15-acre campus that is both picturesque and pollution-free. It offers excellent access to both private and public transportation, and the institution has all the structural amenities required to operate in accordance with regulations. For the benefit of the student-trainees, the highly competent administration, academic council, and teaching faculty have always incorporated and put into effect the most recent innovations in the field of education in the college by introducing numerous Educational Events, Conferences, Workshops, Research Studies, etc., which are an addition to the usual curriculum. Keeping in mind the global context, the programmes developed are designed to positively contribute to the advancement of students, teachers, the community, and the country as a whole. The university operates with a deep sense of social accountability and is very ecologically concerned, which is quite visible from the numerous environmentally friendly techniques employed around the campus, such as Rainwater collection, Biogas, Social forestry, etc. also encourages optimal agricultural/horticultural practices.

The college offers a Bachelor of Education [B.Ed] and a Master of Education [M.Ed.] programme for students.

Eligibility

Candidates are eligible for admission to the B.Ed programme if they have earned at least 50% in their Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or any other qualification that is comparable.

Candidates are eligible for admission if they received at least a 50% overall average in their B.Ed. degree.

Admission

Admission will be granted based on merit, which will be determined by the scores attained on the qualifying test, the entrance exam, or any other selection procedure, depending on the policy of the State Government, the U.T. Administration, and the University.
