The College of Dental Sciences was set up in the year 1991 and is located in Davanagere, Karnataka. The college is recognized by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The college is in association of JJM Medical College, Bapuji Hospital and Chigateri General Hospital. College of dental sciences is an excellent center for dental health education.

AIM

The aim of the college is to promote research and knowledge for the advancement of dental well-being. The college has been developing professionals with practical approach and social values.

The college offers undergraduate BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) course and postgraduate MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) course in the following specialties:

STUDENT INTAKE

The college admits 100 students to the BDS course and 47 students to the MDS course.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

FOR BDS COURSE:-

The candidate must pass the Karnataka PUC examination or an equivalent examination and secure 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English. Admission to the course is based on NEET exam.

FOR MDS COURSE:-

The candidate must have a BDS degree from recognized university and have qualified the NEET MDS exam.

 

FEES STRUCTURE

The annual fees for BDS degree is INR 4.7 lakhs and for MDS degree INR is 4.5 Lakhs.
