College of veterinary and animal science (COVAS) is located in Parbhani, Maharashtra. It was established in the year 1972 under Marathwada Agricultural Universityand is affiliated with Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur. At the undergraduate level it offers admission in the Bachelors of Veterinary science and Animal Husbandry whereas at the postgraduate level it offers admission in the Master's of veterinary science in the various fields. Eligibility criteria
The basic eligibility criteria for the candidate interested in taking admission in the undergraduate courses offered by this Institute is that the candidate must have to pass that 10 + 2 examination from any recognized board or any given at exam as well with an aggregate of minimum 55% marks. Furthermore, candidates should have completed a minimum age of 17 years old and must be a citizen of India. For taking admission in the postgraduate courses, candidates should have to pass their bachelor's degree in veterinary science from any recognized university which has been approved by the ICAR with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks.
