About the College
Gayatri Institute of Computer & Management Studies, Orissa was founded in 1999 under the auspices of the ISA trust in a socially and economically difficult area. The institute welcomes students from all backgrounds to apply for admission to pursue higher education thanks to its distinguished instructors and cutting-edge facilities. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), an arm of the Indian government, has approved all courses. The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Odisha, is also connected with the institute. The institute provides MBA and MCA degrees. Their goal is to become the top business school in the world and a rapidly developing educational centre for South Eastern India. GICMS thinks that through providing seminars, workshops, and training, can assist students in better understanding the market and finding employment. Students are provided with an in-depth understanding of computer technology with the computer curriculum given at the Masters's level, together with a well-designed computer lab and highly competent faculty. The institution's only mission is to educate students on the qualities of sincerity, punctuality, hard effort, flawless project creation, smarts, and challenge ability while also providing management education and computer application. These students are then encouraged to live out these values as role models for our rural and urban young.

Eligibility
To apply for the MCA programme, you must have a B.Sc./B.Com./BA (50% for general categories and 45% for reserved categories) with mathematics at the 10+2 level or at the graduate level.
Applicants for the MBA programme must have earned their bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%.
Admission
Admission to the courses is based on merit. Only candidates who match the eligibility criteria as given the institute and those who have cleared the Odisha JEE are considered for admission.
