Jain University is a private university in Bangalore. It was established in 1990. It is considered to be one of the best institutes in Bangalore. It is being recognized as an A grade company by NAAC ( National assessment and accreditation council. The University sees a vision of contributing in human development by achieving excellence in research and education.

Admissions are given on the basis of test scores in the Jain entrance test. It has a total of 25 departments. It offers a wide range of 58 undergraduate courses and 51 postgraduate courses.

They have taken each necessary step to promote research activities and are providing the facilities of E-Journal, Interlibrary loan facility, research conclave, sophisticated research equipment etc. 

They also offer bachelors in vocational courses. They have their academy courses and JAIN online programs.

The Jain university offers six types of scholarship to its students in order to encourage them to excel which are named as Medha, Ekalavaya, Natyaswara, Atharva, Dyumna. There are certain eligibility criterias on the basis of which scholarships are granted to the meritorious students.

It has 6 Faculties in different subject areas namely, faculty of engineering and technology, faculty of sciences, faculty of management, faculty of commerce, faculty of arts, humanities, social sciences and faculty of creative arts and design.

Over the years, the University has produced some notable alumni. Their placement record has been excellent. Some of the major recruiters include Airtel, Axis Bank, Bajaj, Bosch, Dell and many more.

It organizes many events from time to time and has put its focus on sports and extracurriculars as well. It provides good sports facilities to its members along with its initiative KHELO INDIA in sports.
