Ramanagar's M. M. U. To just provide university education for those wishing to pursue careers in medicine, Karnataka was founded as a privately educated institution in 1982. The reputable PCI and AICTE are affiliates of the M. M. U. Department of Pharmacy. Dr MOHAMED KHALEEL is in charge of the M. M. U. College of Pharmacy in Ramanagar (Principal).

 

The M.M.U. Trust-run M.U. College of Pharmacy is located in the silken city of Ramanagaram, 50 kilometres from Bangalore, between two scenic mountain ranges.

The M.M.U. College of Pharmacy was founded in 1982 with a Diploma in Pharmacy and then grew into a degree-granting institution (B.pharm) in 1986. From 2009 to 2010, postgraduate pharmacy (M.pharm) courses were offered. There are 60 undergrads in each D.Pharm and B.Pharm course every year. The institution boasts a skilled and knowledgeable team, led by the respected principal Prof. Mohamed Khaleel, a charismatic individual.

The institution has been well with the most modern lab facilities, an online bookstore, a big atrium hall with a capacity of 200 students, conference halls, and other amenities for meetings.

 

ADMISSION PROCESS:

 

The minimum requirement for admission is:

 

a student who has completed one of the aforementioned programmes and completed the examination with a combined score of 50% on the mandatory subject and 50% on the entire examination.

 

COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY:

 

M.Pharm:

Those who have earned a B.PHARM. shall be evaluated for admittance to the M.PHARM-PHARMACEUTICS programme.

 

D.Pharma : 

Regulations for Entrance and Training for D. Drug Course. A passing grade in any of the major exams in Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Math is the prerequisite for the Diploma in Pharmacy Part-I Course.

 

B.Pharma: 

candidates who have completed the 2 P.U.C. examination administered by the Karnataka P.U.C. Board or a comparable test administered by another recognised Board or institution with at least a 50 per cent score in any P.C.M. or P.C.B. mixture.
