The Bhagwan Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was founded in 1964 by the followers and pupils of the late Shri Bhagwan Maharaj, the great Saint of the Warkari. It is a Charitable Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1958, with Registration No. F-46. The purpose of this Trust is to disseminate and spread education in order to educate the oppressed rural population of Marathwada in Maharashtra. Education helps an individual to be financially self-sufficient while also increasing the productivity of society.

Dr. Y.S. Khedkar, a highly educated, competent, and pioneer in the field of E.N.T Surgery, took the initiative and began this enterprise in 1964 by constructing a modest Hostel for students, backed by his wife, Mrs. Vidyut Khedkar, and likeminded contemporaries.

It has developed to its current size and shape as a result of the founder fathers' tireless work, vision, and ongoing encouragement for the cause. Since its start in 1964, Bhagwan Shikshan Prasarak Mandal has established a number of institutes.
