About the college

State Institute of Hotel Management [SIHM], Bolangir is established by the Ministry of Tourism Government of India and department of tourism Government of Odisha. The institute was established in 2004 and offers different courses in the field of hospitality. Different skill development programmes such as entrepreneurship program skill testing and certification program skill orientation and certification of street vendors program are organised throughout the year. Several extra curricular activities are organised in order to provide a chance to the students to showcase their hidden talents. Faculty members are quite experienced and use innovative ways to instil quality education to the students. There is an active placement cell that works to provide opportunities to their students. There is a placement portal through which students can access the different opportunities that I have been provided to them. Students can file any sort of complaints they face on campus online by visiting the website of the college. 

SIHM Admission 2024 

Different regular and diploma, as well as certificates courses, are provided to the student which are as follows-

Eligibility 

To take admission in regular courses a student must have qualified class 10th / 12th from any recognized board with a minimum 50% mark he or she must not have any backlogs pending.

Process 

To take admission students are required to visit the website and click on the online admissions tab. They need to make a new registration by filling in the details that have been asked such as applicant information, address details, and qualification details; they also need to upload some documents and continue to save the registration. The application forms with incomplete information or false entries are rejected and they will not be granted any seat.
