Vidyavardhaka Law College is one of the premier educational institutions providing education in the field of Law.

Established in 1974, the college is affiliated to Mysore University. It is a private institute having a faculty of over 20 members.

It offers two different courses Bachelor of Law (L.L.B) which is a 3 years course and Bachelor of Arts plus Bachelor of Laws (B.A.L.L.B) which is a 5 years course.

The college has excellent infrastructure facilities including a library to give a good exposure to its students. The quality of education and the learning environment at the college makes it stand out from the crowd. It also provides other facilities such as transportation facilities, wifi facilities, gym and computer lab facilities.

The college has its own dress code except on wednesday and saturdays and also on the other special days as prescribed by the college.Vidyavardhaka Law College has a good placement record. There's a separate placement cell to look after ensuring adequate opportunities for the students. Various curricular, non- curricular and recreational activities are being conducted from time to time for overall skills development of the students coming over there. 

The college offers a huge number of cells and committees for the holistic development of its members. Some of them are Eco club, Moot court committee, mentor cell, sports committee and National service scheme. To ensure equality and equal opportunities to all, the college has it's own minority cell,anti ragging cell and anti sexual harassment cell and Other backward classes cell. Alumni cell, parents teachers committee, youth red cross committee are a special attraction.
