About the college

The tuition was established in the year 1987-88 to provide education and training to men and women to meet the entrepreneurial experience and cover the management needs of the society. It is known to be the first Engineering college to be established in the most backward district of Tamil Nadu with the notion to develop the people academically, socially and most importantly economically as well. It is affiliated with the University of Madras ever since. Some of the core values include technological advancement, a student-focused environment and also serving enthusiastic lifelong learning.

Eligibility

The eligibility required for the students to have scored an aggregate minimum of 50 % marks in their 10+2 course of education. Relaxation is provided for the students belonging to the reserved categories such as SC / ST the minimum marks required is an aggregate of 45% in their 10th and 12th and for students belonging to MBC and OBC they must obtain an aggregate minimum of 43% marks in their higher secondary.
