ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Arunamalai College of Education, Thiruvarur was started in the year 2005-06 providing a course which comes under the field of education, B.Ed. Managed by the Indira Gandhi Educational Trust, the college is also NCTE approved and affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. This institute also got an ISO9001:2008 certificate making it famous and well known among other colleges. The students receive University rane on annual basis and keep the grades of their college high as always. The college building is beautifully built with all the necessary facilities attracting students to actively take part in various activities whether academic or non-academic. The vision of the college is to give quality training to the future teacher generation to make them fit in fields of administrative and academic excellence with a combination of both self and external evaluation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Those candidates are considered eligible to secure a seat in this college who have done graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks. The age limit is not set as there is no age bar when it comes to education.

The college offers 1 year B.Ed course in the field of education which is totally on campus and full time. The medium of teaching is English, Hindi, and Telugu. the total intake is that of 100-200 students.
