ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The term ASSEFA is short for Association for Sarva Seva Farms. This is a Gandhian institution, the foundation of which was laid by Shri Vinoba Bhave. It was started in the year 2009 with a number of 100 students constitution the first batch. The college offers a B.Ed course in the stream of education. Essential infrastructural facilities include a reception, administrative office, big class rooms, staff rooms, library, laboratories, computer labs, seminar hall, sports arena, hostel facility for both boys and girls separately, and a counseling centre. The teaching faculty is highly qualified  and experienced. The college is approved by NCTE and promises a better future for all the students studying in this college. The ownership of the college is private.

Assefa College of Education Admission 2024

The admission is done online on the basis of application forms filled by the students available on the college website. The application forms, along with all the relevant documents are then submitted to NCTE, Bangalore for further approval. The documents required are- a graduation degree, class 12th mark sheet, class 10th mark sheet, aadhar card, and community certificate.

ELIGIBILITY

The college offers a B.Ed course whose eligibility criteria is 10+2+3 from any recognized institution in India. The candidate must have done graduation in the following disciplines- Tamil, English, Maths, Physical Science, Biological Science, and History. Graduation must be done with at least 50% marks.

UG ADMISSION

The B.Ed course is provided by the college for the time period of two years with two hundred working days in each year. There are both theory classes and internship programs included in it. The major subjects include-  Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, and History. The course is full time and on campus and focuses on career-oriented goals.
