AVS College of Education Admission 2024 | UG & PG Course Last Date

AVS College of Education is a private institute located in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The college was established in 1995 by Om Sri Vivekananda Educational Trust. AVS College is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai and recognized by the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE). The aim of the college is to create competent employable graduates and to provide competent faculty to the students. The college offers facilities like canteen, Library, computer lab, science laboratories, workshops, well-equipped classrooms, transportation services, medical facilities and sports.

 

AVS College Admission 2024

 

The college only offers Undergraduate course in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) for the duration of two years. The annual fees of the course is ₹37,500. Students can choose one major subject for the study among English, Tamil, Computer Science, Chemistry, History and Physics.

 

Eligibility:

 

For admission in the undergraduate course students must complete their 10+2 examinations from any recognized board and their graduation in any relevant subject. The minimum marks required for the admission is 40% marks for any student belonging to reserved category and 50% marks for the general category students.

 

Undergraduate Admission:

 

Admission in the college is done on the basis of the merit-list released by the college. The list is released after the students complete their application form. The form is filled online only and can be downloaded from the college website (http://avsce.org/ ). Application form contains basic information like name, address, email id, contact number, parents' details and marks obtained by the students in 10th and 12th examinations. Along with this they need to upload their 10th and 12th marksheet, caste certificate and a passport size photograph.
