Ayira Vaisya College Of Education was established in 2008 and is located in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu. The college is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved by and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University. The college aims  to provide quality learning experiences to develop the holistic personality of the teacher-trainees and to inculcate among the teacher-trainees the desirable values. This college also works toward national and international distinction to prepare leaders in education. Ayira Vaisya College provides facilities like Educational Technology Laboratory, Psychology Laboratory, Subject Laboratories, Library, Sports and Games, canteen, scholarships, medical facilities and science laboratories.

The college offers Undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Tamil, English, Biological Science, Physical, Science, Computer Science, History and Mathematicsfor the duration of two years. The yearly fees for the course is ₹35,000 and the college follows the semester wise system for the course.

 

Eligibility:

 

The college has set some basic eligibility criteria for admission in the B.Ed courses. The students must pass 10+2 examinations and must hold a graduation degree in any relevant subject. The minimum score required is 45% marks for the reserved category like (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe) candidates and 50% marks for the general category students.

 

Undergraduate Admission

 

Students who wish to apply for the undergraduate courses must fill in their application form that is available on the college website. Application form is filled online only. Students need to fill personal and educational details in the form along with uploading their 12th certificate, graduation certificate and caste certificate (if applicable) and a passport size photograph with their signature. The admission is done purely on the basis of the Merit-list.
