About the College

Center for distance and online education of Bharathidasan University is one of the recognised centers for open learning; it has been accredited with a plus grade by NAAC and has been recognised by UGC-DEB.  It was established in the year 1992 their main aim is to serve those students who buy any reason they could not get into regular colleges for Getting higher education. The college is being administered by the Vice Chancellor and the directors of the college also there is an Advisory Committee in order to advise them upon 13 matters apart from that they have also set up a Centre for internal Quality Assurance so as to keep a check up on the quality of sources that they are delivering. To assist the student the college also provides a lot of study material on its website students can access it for free.

The college provides four types of courses including undergraduate programs, post graduate programs, professional programs and diploma or certificate programs. Undergraduate program includes Bachelors of arts in Economics history public administration Political Science and bachelors in Business Administration comma bachelors in commerce bachelors in Science with mathematics Chemistry Physics botany zoology computer science information technology and bachelors in computer application. Post graduate courses include masters of arts in Economics 3 public administration Political Science and masters of Science in mathematics Chemistry Physics botany zoology computer science Information Tech, geography and masters of Commerce in general and in financial management and masters of Hearts in Human Resource Management. Online degree programs are provided in Masters in Business Administration Masters in Arts with History public administration political science Tamil English economics and bachelors in Business Administration as well as Bachelors of arts in Tamil and English. 

Eligibility 

For admissions to undergraduate courses the candidate must be qualified in higher secondary examination that is 10 + 2. Students applying for Tamil courses must have studied Tamil in their class 12th for admissions in Masters courses. A Bachelor's Degree in the same specialisation is mandatory.

Students can download the prospectus of the college by logging into the website and under the same tab we can find a link to the application form by the name of the online application form by filling it and submitting the online payment the application is processed further.
