About the college

The Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Bon Secours, a religious order dedicated to the care of women for decades, established Bon Secours College for Women as a gift to their higher education mission. This Institution is affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Trichy and it is accredited with NAAC A++. It has an area of 16 acres. The college, which has 18 Departments, offers 18 programmes with 4144 undergraduate students, 10 programmes with 381 postgraduate students, 6 students in M.Phil. programmes across 5 disciplines, and 4 Ph.D. programmes with 23 Scholars. 

The M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes are offered by the Bharathidasan University under the Elective Course System, while all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are offered under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). 

There are 170 add-on, value-added, and diploma programmes.
