This institution is affiliated to Anna University, accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), respectively. This institution was founded by the V. Rangaswamy Naidu Educational Trust (VRET) as a government financed and an autonomous technical institute.
