About the college

Crescent College of Education was established in the year 2005 by Al-Ameen Educational trust .It is approved by National Council for Teacher Education. The college envisions the holistic development of students into vibrant, professional, conscious of human values and eco-friendly environments and competent in skills. The institution moulds the students into becoming better human resources for society. The college is built with all the amenities like classrooms, laboratories, library, seminar hall, offices, recreation halls, sports room, placement cell, canteen, etc. It helps students to provide placement opportunities in both the corporate and public sectors.

Crescent College of Education Admission 2024

The college offers the following courses :

B.Ed is a Bachelor of education.This is a 2-year non semester programme.

M.Ed course ( Masters of education). It would comprise theoretical courses and specialised courses in the discipline of education and related field work including training in teacher education institutions.

The college also offers admission in B.Ed Distance education affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teacher’s Education University.

Eligibility

  • The basic eligibility is to be passed in 10th and 12th examinations with an aggregate of 50 % marks from any recognised board of institution under the UGC guidelines.
  • The college interviews for the B.Ed course and the M.Ed course, the qualifying B.Ed examination is taken into consideration.
  • The marks obtained by students belonging to different categories should be as mentioned below :
  1. OC- 50%
  2. BC – 43%
  3. MBC- 45%
  4. Physically/ visually challenged – pass any post-graduate degree with 50% marks.

UG & PG Admissions

  • Fill out the application form and register yourself to get other updates about the college.
  • Attested photocopies of the student, Aadhaar card, HSC mark sheet, and community and character certificate need to be enclosed.
  • Candidates who have passed any degree under the Additional Degree programme with less than three years duration are not eligible.
  • The payment must be made via UPI/Net Banking and once paid the amount will not be refunded or returned.
