Fisheries College and Research Institute also known as FCRI is a TANUVAS affiliated private college of fisheries research in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Institute was established in the year 1976 by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and also the Fisheries College and Research Institute, Thoothukudi has been accredited by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Govt. of India. The institute offers a stack of courses in fisheries in different streams with the vision of ''Harnessing the Science of Fisheries for Food, Nutrition and Livelihood."
