Girivasan College of Education is located in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. The college was established in 2007 Om Sree Vigneshwara Educational Trust", a charitable trust formed by Mr.D.S.KANAGARAJ. Girivasan college is affiliated with Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai, Tamilnadu and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).  Girivasan College of education focuses on all over development of their students' and offers high quality education to all the students. The college offers facilities like Library, laboratories, sports, canteen, medical facilities, workshops, Computer lab, hostel facilities for boys and girls and auditorium.

The College only offers undergraduate courses in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in subjects like Computer Science, Mathematics, English and Economics, Commerce and Accountancy, Biological Sciences and Tamil. The duration of the course is two years. The annual fees of the course is ₹37,500.

 

Eligibility:

 

Students who wish to apply for the undergraduate courses must have passed 10+2 examinations from any recognized board. The students must complete their graduation in any subject with at least 45% marks for the reserved category students and 50% marks for the general category students. Students must fulfill this eligibility criteria. Even the students have completed their studies with the (10+2+3) or (11+1+5) method.

 

Undergraduate Course:

 

Admission is done on the basis of the merit-list released by the college. For the undergraduate courses students need to fill in the application form that is available on the college website. The application form is filled only online. They need to fill in their personal and educational details. Then upload the required documents like 12th marksheet, graduation certificate, any reserved category certificate and a passport size photograph along with their signature. The information that students fill in the application form must be correct, they will not get another chance to fill in the details in the form.
