About the college

Gobi Arts and Science College is situated in Gobichettipalayam, Tamil Nadu. This college was established in 1968. The college is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and Accrediated with 'A' Grade by NAAC (4th cycle) & Recognised as STAR College by DBT, Govt.of India). The main aim of this college is to provide quality education which help in uplifting of social and economical condition of people of their area and to make their student a relevant citizen who can give best to their country. The college has an excellent infrastructural facilities. It is a spreaded in the 50 acres of land to the top of the Silver Hills. The college physical facilities includes main building, IT building, Chemistry building, Physics building, Mathematics building, Canteen, Auditorium hall, Museums, Seperate Hostel for girls and boys, Sports, Auditorium and laboratories.

Dear students can get admission in this college through online mode different students can apply for different courses into their interest field the admission process is purely based on the married of the students.

There reservation rule by the government of tamilnadu:

  • 1% for ST
  • 20% for MBC/DNC
  • 30% for BC
  • 31% for open competition

 

Eligibility

To get admission in UG courses student must have to passed 10 + 2 from the appropriate stream. And to get admission in PG courses, students must have to cleared any degree with Economics, Math, B.Com, B.B.A, B.B.M and B.Sc maths etc.

 

UG admission

This college provides B.A economics, B.Sc mathematics, B.Sc physics, B.Sc chemistry, B.Sc botany, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Com, B.Com, B.B.A courses for the students of their college.

 

PG admission

Post graduation can be done in M.A Economics, M.Sc mathematics and M.Com. The candidate must clear their graduation from any recognise university or college.
