Government Dharmapuri Medical College is a government run medical college situated in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. 

It was established in 2008. 

It was affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University

It offers various degree in MBBS, MD, MS and diploma.

 

Government Dharmapuri Medical College Admission 2024

In order to get admission in the MBBS course one must have appeared and qualified the national entrance and Eligibility Test conducted by the government of India along with the medical council every year. They must have the required cutoff for this college and in the process of counselling they must choose this college as the first preference.

For MD and Ms degree one must have a period for the national entrance Eligibility Test post graduate examination conducted every year. They must have the required percentage and cut off for the admission in these courses. For diploma course one must have studied there 10 + 2 schooling from a recognise board and fill in the admission form when it is released.

 

Eligibility

The candidates morning to take admission in MBBS degree must have completed there 10 + 2 schooling from a recognised board. They must have 50% marks in there final year of schooling and must have studied the combination subject of physics chemistry and Biology in the plus two level. For MS and MD degree one must have completed that MBBS degree from a recognised University approved by the Medical Council of India.

They must have at least 50% marks in their final examination.

There is 5% relaxation in marks for ST SC candidates.

UG course

The MBBS degree is a 5.6 years full time on campus course.

The course explores both the practical as well as the theoretical aspect of human body.

 

PG course

The MD and Ms degree is a 2 years full time on campus course. The annual fees is Rs 13,900.
