The student needs to fulfil certain eligibility criteria in order to get admission in the desired course. 

Eligibility

Students seeking admissions in undergraduate programs are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria of passing their 10 + 2 level education from a recognized board and score at least 55 % or equivalent in the relevant subjects. To take admissions in post graduation, a student needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria of passing their graduation with relevant subjects and score at least 45 % as their passing score. The government of India ( GOI) provides some relaxation to children belonging to reserved category.
