About the college

Jayam Arts and Science College is a private institution located in Pennagaram, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2015 by the Jayam educational trust and is affiliated to Periyar University. It is a part of the Jayam Group of institutions. The primary mission of the college is to provide the best of academic and holistic resources to inculcate personal growth and achievement through a collaborative learning environment. To take this further, the college has been furnished with several facilities like computer lab, library facilities, internet, playgrounds, canteen and bus facilities for quick and safe transportation. Undergraduate degrees in various subjects are offered academically, and students can therefore avail the above-mentioned services to take their studies to the next level. Scholarships are available for the unprivileged, sportspersons or meritorious students, fee concessions upon tuition are given based on certain criteria (grades, minorities, sportspersons, physically challenged students) and fee concessions on transport can be availed by all.

Undergraduate degrees are offered as this co-ed school as Bachelor of Arts(B.A.), Bachelor of Science(B.Sc.), Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) and Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com.).The subjects one can major in range from Tamil, English, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce and the three sciences. 

Eligibility

For a candidate to be eligible for the degree courses, it is imperative to have a pass grade at the 10+2 (XIIth) level from any recognized college. They must also have studied the subject they’re applying before or a related group of subjects. 

Process

Prospective candidates must procure the application form & prospectus by paying a mandatory fee of Rs. 200/- at the office on the working days of the college. It is also important to gather all relevant documents like a passport size photograph, transfer certificate, S.S.L.C (10th) and H.S.C (12th) level marks statement, conduct certificate, community certificate, any valid identification papers.Taking copies (preferably attested) of these documents is further recommended.
