About the college

Jayaraj Annapackiam College for Women is situated in Theni district of the state of Tamil Nadu. The college was established in the year 1971. The institute is a private autonomous institute. It was established  as  a Minority Christian institution and was founded by the sisters of St.Anne of Tiruchirappalli, a religious organisation. The university is further affiliated to Mother Teresa women’s university, Kodaikanal, since October 2002.The college offers various programs for the students it offers 9 UG aided programs ,6  UG unaided programs, 3 PG aided program, 6 PG unaided programs, 6 M.Phil program, 6 PhD programs ,one PG diploma, 3 diploma, 13 certificate courses, 3 diploma and 2 vocational courses in JAC Community College Under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The college aims at empowering  the marginalised, rural, economically weaker young women through education.
