About the college

Jeeva College Of Nursing is an institute located in Krishnagiri,Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 1991 and is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University. It is further recognized by the Indian Nursing Council New Delhi and The Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai. The college was established by the Sree pankajam Krishnan educational trust. The arching objective of the college is to ensure high-class education programs to enable a trained and skilled youth that contribute to the community. Consequently, the amenities provided by the campus include transport facilities, moral & personality development classes, government fees, spoken English class, hostel, loan facility and placement assistance. Academically, it offers one undergraduate and postgraduate degree along with a diploma to cater to all possible choices regarding one’s education and career. 

Jeeva College Of Nursing Admission 2024 

A diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) is offered to prepare the skills and knowledge relevant to a general nurse’s qualifications during the span of 3 year learning. The college also offers a degree course in Nursing as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) that spans a 4 year long period. Lastly, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Nursing is offered for a duration of 2 years, its syllabus having many branches of study within. 

Eligibility 

For DGNM, a pass grade at the XIIth level with a minimum of 40% marks overall. An age restriction of a completed 17 years of age is mandatory. For B.Sc.in Nursing, it is required to have a pass grade at the XIIth level, relevant science subjects chosen and a minimum of 45% marks in the science subjects. The same age restriction applies. For M.Sc, Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required if you are applying for it in the graduate degree.

Process

Applying online, candidates should fill the online form on the college website and pay a fee for registering their name. Common documents for all the above courses are community certificate, passport size photographs, Aadhar card copy, transfer certificates of previous institution and academic marksheets of Xth and XIIth levels. B.Sc. and M.Sc degrees also demand a migration certificate. Likewise, the M.Sc degree demands Council Registration certificates, registration certificate for candidates who are registered with another state’s nursing council, and eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
