About the college
In September 2004, the K.S.R. Institute of Dental Science and Research was founded. The Dental Council of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu both have approved this college, it is affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University. The institute is located 8 kms from Tiruchengode, and 14 kms from Erode on the Erode-Tiruchengode-Rasipuram State Highway. Since its establishment, the college has concentrated on advancements in dentistry for the benefit of people while also giving students a platform to realise their dreams. The institute was created with the intention of offering top-notch training facilities to create dentists of the highest grade, and it has been successful in achieving this thanks to the active participation of the management and employees.
For clinical training in general medicine and general surgery, the college has tie-ups with Government Hospital, Tiruchengode and Sree Gokulam Hospital, Salem.
K.S.R. Institute of Dental Science and Research Admission 2024
The students willing to take admission in this college for dental science can apply either for B. D. S or M. D. S programmes as per the eligibility criteria. Selection of students is based on the policies of the State Government. The college has 100 seats for undergraduate course and it offers 7 specialities for post graduation in dentistry.
Eligibility criteria
In order to apply for BDS or MDS the candidate should have qualified NEET UG and PG entrance respectively. This is applicable for both government and management seats. NEET eligible candidates will have to attend the centralized counseling conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu for admission.
