Mohamed Sathak Engineering College was established in 1984 under the aegis of Mohamed Sathak Trust of Chennai. All its courses are approved by AICTE. Being a self-financed college it is affiliated with Anna University. Also accredited as B++ by NAAC.

Application Procedure

Candidates have to register for their respective exam TNEA/ TANCET on the website of the conducting body. Fill out the form and must have all the documents. Pay the application fees of ₹500 and ₹100 for reserved ones.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech.

Have to pass the intermediate with more than 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and math or in equivalent subjects.

For Lateral Entry, one must either complete the Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. with Mathematics.

Also one has to apply for TNEA for the BE/ B.Tech. program which is conducted by DoTE, Chennai.

For B.E. in Marine Engineering

At least 60% marks in PCM together and more than 50% marks in English in class 10th or 12th.

For B.Arch.

Candidates must qualify for English and have to score 50% in intermediate in the stream PCM. To get a seat here, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture is important.

For MBA

Must hold either a bachelor's or a master's degree in any stream. One will get admission on the basis of scores they have in the Management aptitude test or TANCET.

For MCA

The scores of TANCET are necessary for enrollment. One must be a BCA student who has completed the 10+2 with maths. Or candidates have taken graduation with mathematics.

For M.Tech.

A Bachelor's degree is a must in a relevant engineering field. The final selection is based on Tamil Nadu-CET which is being conducted by Anna University.
