Presidency University Admission 2024 | UG & PG Course Last Date

Presidency University, Kolkata earlier known as Hindu College located in Kolkata India. Established in 1817, it was the oldest institution in India with no religious background. The university is affiliated to the University Grant Commission (UGC) and is accredited with “A" grade by NAAC. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate, doctoral programmes in Science, Humanities, etc. Admissions take place on the basis of PUBDET and PUMDET which are organised by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.

Courses Offered:

The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in various specializations. Presidency offers BA (hons), B.Sc. (Hons) in eight specializations each. The university also offers MA in seven and M.Sc. in nine specializations.
