Ramco Institute of Technology (RIT) is one of the self financed Institute located in Rajapalayam, Tamil nadu. It was established in the year 2013 and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. It has been approved by the AICTE and has been accredited as grade " B++ " Institute by the NAAC.

Admission Procedure

Basic eligibility criteria for the candidate who might be interested in taking admission in B.E Or BTech must have to pass there 10+2 examination from any recognised board or any equivalent exam as well with physics chemistry and mathematics as their core subject and must have to pass with an aggregate of 50% marks and the selection will be done on the basis of Mark secured in qualifying examination of TNEA as well as in the 12th examination which is followed by the counseling session conducted by the institute itself . 

Whereas for B.E( Lateral) course candidates must have to pass their 10 + 3 examination with an aggregate of 50% marks and the selection will be done on the basis of qualifying marks secured in the qualifying  examination of TNEA which is followed by a counseling session . 

However, 35% of the total seats are reserved for the management quota as per the university rules.

Top recruiting companies that visit here for the placements are TCS, Wipro, ramci, Zoho, Infosys, TVS, Byju's etc. About 94% of the students were placed every year. The highest package that is offered during the placement drive is of INR 6 lakh per annum whereas the average package that offered is of INR 4 Lakhs per annum. It also provides internship opportunities for the skill development update students and about 35% of the students who got an internship opportunity in various top companies.
