About the college 

Shri V.P.R. College of Education is located in Theni, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2006 by Shri V.P.R. Educational society, and is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Educational University. It has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The vision of the institution is to offer academic resources and teachers that enable the student to achieve excellence to contribute to their career and the industry in the future. The college also offers state-of-the-art amenities in form of a classrooms, physical library, a digital library, AV facilities, Sports Room, student clubs and activities, and laboratories for Educational Technology, Physical Science, Biological Science, Language, Psychology, Work Experience, Micro teaching Lab and a Computer Lab. The college additionally offers opportunities of scholarships to students who may benefit from financial aid. 

Shri V.P.R. College of Education Admission 2024 

The college offers the degree of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) for a study period of two years. There are also specialisations that an individual can complete within the degree such as Tamil, English, History, Economics Education, Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Computer Science, Commerce and Accountancy.

Eligibility

Since the B.Ed degree is pursued after a student's Bachelor's Degree in any other stream such as Science, Engineering, Commerce or Arts, the first criteria is for the student to have graduated from a recognised university. A minimum academic requirement is to have scored atleast 50% marks. 

Process 

The interested candidate must apply to the college by visiting the college in person in order to purchase documents like the prospectus and application form. The form must be filled in by the student's own handwriting. Correct personal and academic information will be necessary, along with contact data for the college to notify you if selected. Lastly, documents to be attached with the form are marksheets, certificates, identity proof and photographs.
