Bankura Unnayani Institute of Engineering (BUIE) is a first self finance Institute located in Bankura, West Bengal. It was established in the year 1998 and is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and the government of West Bengal . It also has been approved by the AICTE and MHRD.

Eligibility Criteria

 

For B.Tech course

  • Candidates must have to pass that 10 plus 2 exam from any recognized board or any equivalent exam as well and must have to pass with an aggregate of 45% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their core subjects. 
  • For b tech lateral candidates must have to secure 60% marks in diploma in engineering or in B.Sc (hons.) . 

 

For M.Tech course

  • Candidates must have to pass their bachelor's degree from any recognised University in the various streams of B.E or B.Tech with an aggregate of 60% marks. 
  • Candidates having M.Sc. degree are also eligible. 

 

For BBA, BCA and B.Sc course

  • Candidates must have to pass their 10+2 examination from any recognised board for any equivalent exam as well. 

 

Selection Criteria

 

For B.Tech

  • Selection will be done on the basis of marks secured in the JEE main entrance examination or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. 
  • For B.Tech Lateral entry
  • Selection will be done in conditions of marks secured in WBJELET examination. 

 

For M.Tech course

  • Selection will be there on the basis of marks secured in the GATE examination or WBUT or PGET exam. 

 

For BBA, BCA and B.Sc course

  • Selection will be done on the basis of merit. 

 

Admission procedure

 

  • At first candidates have to register themselves on the official website of this Institute and after registering and with some level 2 create a password and the user ID. 
  • After registration candidates have to upload their skin photo signature and the application fee of ₹ 500/- through online payments. 
  • On successful completion of the above steps, download the ‘Confirmation Page’.
  • Keep copies of the confirmation page, admit card in safely.
