Raiganj B.Ed College, Raiganj was established in 1981 and is a government-sponsored college which was initially affiliated with the University of North Bengal. The college offers secondary Teacher training education to candidates so that they’ll be able to learn the professional ethics of this course and also experience a stimulating way of teaching. The college is also approved by the reputed National Council for teacher education. The college has both pre-service and in-service facilities. Raiganj B.Ed College Admission 2024

The college offers admission to the Bachelor of education programme for 2 years. The course details include specialisation in various languages such as Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Philosophy, Education, History and Geography. The course has an intake of 100 students per year respective of caste, creed or religion criteria. The admission for the candidates goes through various rounds of counselling and is purely merit-based.

Eligibility

  • The candidate shall have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks or a Master’s in any discipline.
  • The candidate can also have a degree in B.E. Or B.Tech with 55% marks as an average score.
  • Candidates must pass the qualifying examination and must make it to the cut-off list.
  • There is no minimum age for the course to be eligible.
  • Reservation of seats is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST/OBC.

UG & PG Admissions

  • Candidates must fill out the application form given online within the specified date.
  • He/she must pay the application fee of INR 500.
  • Once the payment is made it can not be refunded in any case whatsoever.
