ABOUT THE COLLEGE

This college was established in 1818 and was incorporated in 1827under the act 1918 serampore College by the government of Bengal it has 17 members including the master and principal and has an representative character. The college has two different departments are science and commerce ASC department and theology department the ASC department is affiliated to University of Calcutta and theology department of this college is not affiliated college to the senate of serampore College. It start functioning as University under a Bengal legislation act number 4 of 1918 under section 3 of UGC act.The executive committee finance committee academic committee committee for a search and Church ministries are some important comedies of this college.

Students should have passed the graduation degree examination in a 10 + 2  There are different passing percentages for different categories of students candidates who have post graduation qualification and have secured 55% of marks in pg degree will be only considered theology courses in counseling and physiotherapy, Christian studies diploma in Bible translation diploma in worship and music 

For graduate courses the candidate should have passed class 12th with minimum 60% marks in the different subjects ASC .
